How every Soda Slim lot is made and screened
The verification page shows the result for the current run. This page describes the process that produces it.
Where it is made
Soda Slim is manufactured in the United States in a GMP certified, FDA registered facility. Registration means the facility is on the FDA list of establishments that make dietary supplements and is subject to inspection. It does not mean the product is FDA approved, because no dietary supplement is. Those two statements get blurred constantly in this industry and we would rather be boring about the difference.
Good Manufacturing Practice certification covers the things that go wrong quietly: cleaning between runs, calibrated equipment, batch records that let anyone reconstruct what happened on a given day, and quarantine of raw material until it clears identity testing.
What is tested, and when
| Stage | Test | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Raw material intake | Botanical identity | Confirms the plant material is what the supplier says it is before it enters the blend |
| Raw material intake | Heavy metals by ICP-MS | Lead, arsenic, cadmium and mercury screened against limits, current run below 0.3 ppm |
| In process | Blend uniformity | Every capsule in the lot should carry the same blend, not the top of the drum |
| Finished lot | Active purity by UHPLC-UV | Current run measured at 99.2% |
| Finished lot | Microbial limits | Total counts plus specified organisms, current run pass, within usp limits |
| Release | Certificate of analysis | Signed document per lot, IB-26-0771 for the 2026 run |
The third party laboratory
Finished lot testing is carried out by Ironwood Bioassay Laboratories, LLC, an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited independent laboratory. Independent matters here: a manufacturer testing its own output has an obvious incentive problem, and accreditation is what makes a certificate mean something beyond a letterhead.
The current certificate is IB-26-0771. Request a copy from [email protected] with your order number and we will email it back. We do not publish it as an open download because the document carries commercial detail from the manufacturer.
What we do not test for
We do not run clinical trials on Soda Slim, and we do not claim to. Lot testing answers "is this bottle what the label says, and is it clean". It does not answer "will this work for you", which is a different kind of study with a different budget. Anyone conflating the two is selling something.
Storage and shelf life
- Store the bottle closed, at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and steam. A bathroom cabinet is the worst place in most homes.
- The expiry date is printed on the bottle. Bottles leaving this portal have at least twelve months remaining.
- Do not use a bottle with a broken or lifted induction seal. Contact us instead.
- Keep it out of reach of children. It contains caffeine.
